Muscat Daily - Listen Up Competition 2014
Oman's
one of the leading newspaper, Muscat Daily launched the Listen Up
Competition for the year 2014. Sri Lankan School Muscat registered her
students into the competition more enthusiastically. There will be three
categories: Junior, Intermediate and Senior. Kerry Maddock, Marketing
and Event Manager conducted a workshop for all the participants on the
23rd January 2014. The preliminary rounds will be held on the first week
of March.

Bake Sale
The English Literary Association of Sri Lankan School Muscat organized a bake sale in school on the 5th of February 2014 during the interval at the back yard. The purpose of this wonderful effort was to raise funds for the Silver Jubilee Inter House Drama Competition which will be held on 26th and 27th February.
Film Festival
The English Language Association had organized a film festival. The movie "Frozen" was shown on Sunday the 2nd February and "The Prestige" on Monday. The main hall was filled with students and teachers as it was regarded as a great achievement by the ELA.
